Membership is on a quarterly basis starting on the 1st day of March, June, September & December. If joining over half-way through a month it may be worth delaying and purchasing a membership starting in the next month. Occasionally shorter periods may be available; with the exception of an agreed and specified period, all memberships end on the last day of the quarter, or if agreed, month. There is a discount for extended membership.

Access is on a membership basis. Applications are approved by Waimate Health Developments, and allow 24 hour access by individual key tag.

Tags are issued by Waimate District Council, as owner of the building.

All new memberships are managed via the website (to capture personal details).

SPONSORED CLIENTS are welcome but parent organisations should note that, as volunteers, we do not have time to comply with complex requirements of finance departments. Please email with details of your client and request. We will respond with a quote, and supply/ return one item only- whether it be invoice, buyer created invoice, purchase order, receipt etc.

 

One Quarter

3 Month

$120 - Or pro rata if part way through the quarter.

$80 - A concessionary rate is available on renewal, up to age 20 years, and for those over 65 years of age. ie turning 20 yrs means full membership fee, turning 65 yrs eligible for concession. Confirmation of status may be requested.  Minimum age 16 years old.

Where requested monthly payments can be arranged at $45 per month (no concession). However, this is an ongoing payment irrespective of whether the gym is used or not, otherwise it is unfair on those paying in advance. Quarterly payment via the website is preferred.

 

Longer periods

Memberships of 7 months and over attract a 10% discount

 

  • Other periods are available on an enquiry basis, eg for returning college students who have previously been members. Email for information.

  • The minimum membership period for new members is one month

  • Visitors who are staying with a current gym member and who wish to continue their exercise programme may join, but must attend with the nominated member. Key tags will not be issued. An induction session is required for Health & Safety etc. The minimum fee is $45. Please e-mail to enquire
